For a straightforward inspection or sweep, we can usually book the appointment while you’re on the phone. For repair questions, we’ll tell you what can be priced from photos, what needs a camera inspection, and what would only be a guess.
Once you’re booked, you’ll get a text confirmation with the appointment window. If our schedule changes, you’ll hear from us before the window opens.

Helpful details to have ready
You do not need to diagnose the problem yourself. A few details just help us send the right technician and equipment:
- What the chimney serves. A wood fireplace, gas logs, a furnace, a boiler, a water heater, or something you’re not sure about yet.
- When it was last used, swept, or inspected. “Never, as far as I know” is a normal answer in Philadelphia.
- What changed. Smoke in the room, a campfire smell in warm weather, water stains near the chimney, loose brick or mortar, a missing cap, or animal sounds in the flue.
- Any deadline. A settlement date, insurance request, buyer’s report, tenant issue, or active leak changes how we schedule you.

Same-day and urgent chimney calls
Regular hours are Sun–Fri 6 AM – 10 PM, and we keep same-day space open when routes allow. Call instead of booking online if any of these is happening now:
- Smoke is coming into the room while a fire is burning
- Your carbon monoxide alarm is sounding or recently went off
- You can hear or smell an animal inside the flue
- Brick, mortar, or chimney tile has fallen into the fireplace or yard
- Water is actively coming in around the chimney during a storm
If your carbon monoxide alarm is sounding or you think you have an active chimney fire, call 911 first. Get everyone out of the house. Once the fire department clears it, call us for the chimney work.
